HISTORY

Geographe was born in the South-West of Australia. In 1968 engineer Neville Hyder started the company and took its name from Geographe Bay.

Geographe began by supplying engineering services to Western Australia’s massive mining and resource industries, and continues to do so today.

By the early 1980's, however, most of its business was derived from the manufacture of catalogue replacement parts for imported earthmoving and mining equipment.

This has been the main thrust of the company for the past 35 years.

Geographe produces Australian solutions to engineering problems imported from all over the world.
